Position Overview & Specifications
Position: Commercial lettings and managing agent
Salary: £19 – 40k depending upon experience and qualifications, with unlimited bonus
Bonus: A signing on bonus, a further bonus after six and twelve months. Thereafter an unlimited annual performance bonus
Working Hours: 0900 – 1730 Monday to Friday
Holiday: 20 days + bank holidays increasing with length of service
Place of work: Rayleigh SS6 9QG and Chelmsford CM6 1QL
Job Role
Commercial lettings negotiator and property managing agent. Dealing with lettings, understanding current market conditions, listing properties and dealing with leases. Property management involves acting for landlords to enhance their investment property, collecting rent and dealing with day to day tenant issues. You will build relationships with clients and there is scope and opportunity to expand your role.

Our successful commercial buildings department is expanding. We currently have over 150 commercial properties listed and we are retained by over 870 landlords to deal with properties on their behalf. Your experience
Experience in the property sector is preferred but full training and support is offered to the ideal candidate
Specific Duties
- Taking property details and uploading them
- Following and chasing up telephone and email leads
- Sending regular email advertising campaigns, using Mailchimp and our property enquiries database
- Proactively liaising with Landlords to negotiate rent increases, using our property management software
- Drafting tenancy agreements and associated security of tenure notices
- Conduction property inspections
- Ensuring that landlords' properties comply with current compliance requirements
- Dealing with maintenance and tenant issues
- Keeping landlords and tenants notified and up to date
