Ubiqus is an international language services company, providing transcription and minute‑taking services for meetings, events and conferences around the world and across a range of sectors.
We are seeking to expand our pool of freelance writers. Our freelancers work remotely and are able to choose how much work they take on, so this role is well suited to those looking for flexible hours and home-working opportunities.
Our writers are responsible for producing transcripts and summary documents for a range of high-profile clients. Successful candidates will have excellent writing and editing skills, as well as being able to understand accents from around the world. They will also have outstanding research skills and the ability to manage their own workload to meet challenging deadlines. Experience of writing professionally or in an academic setting is desirable, and a good typing speed is also advantageous.
Suitable candidates will be sent a short writing test to complete in their own time. The writing test will allow candidates to see what a typical assignment is like, and allow us to ascertain their writing abilities and suitability for the role.
Please note that, in order to work with us, freelancers must have an up-to-date operating system on their laptop and purchase an antivirus licence; free software cannot be accepted.
