Position Overview & Specifications
We provide mental health and learning disability services to adults, children and young people across East Sussex, West Sussex, and Brighton and Hove. We have been awarded an overall rating of βgoodβ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and assessed βoutstandingβ for being caring. We offer the following services:
- Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
- Community Mental Health Teams
- Inpatient Services
- Specialist services, such as perinatal mental health and early intervention in psychosis
- Secure and Forensic Services
- Dementia Services
- Learning Disability and Neurobehavioural Science
We welcome applications from nurses who hold a Mental Health degree certificationorregistered nurses who have experience in Mental Health nursing and have been working in a mental health setting.
You will initially join as a Senior Healthcare Support Worker whilst undertaking OSCE training to enable you to successfully complete your OSCE exam to gain full NMC registration. You will be provided with the necessary support from a dedicated education and pastoral care team to prepare you for the programme ahead.
