Position Overview & Specifications
We have recently merged with Berkshire and Surrey Pathology Services (BSPS) merging the two histopathology departments.
The Histopathology department on the East Surrey Hospital site receives over 30,000 specimens per year and currently undertakes specimen cut up, andrology and reporting on the East Surrey site.
The merger of Histopathology into BSPS has seen processing and post processing activity move to the Royal Surrey site.
The Office Assistant role will be based at East Surrey Hospital
This would suit someone interested in a clerical support role in pathology laboratory healthcare.
The successful applicant will be conscientious and enthusiastic and able to work well as part of a team.
