Whatβs the opportunity?
This is a rare, exciting opportunity to join the ScS People Team as Head of Learning and Development. The successful person will lead on areas of Learning and Development and drive this area of the people strategy forward.
What does the role involve?
- Identify and lead on organisational development to support the delivery of the People Strategy
- Lead the Learning and Development team
- Oversee the design and deployment of high impact leadership and development programmes, events and projects and functional pathways
- Manage and deliver a cost effective and performance orientated L&D service, ensuring that performance targets and budgets are met
- Support the development of the senior leaders within ScS
- Work collaboratively with the wider people team and colleagues in ScS to drive the RIGHT values and behaviours
Who are we looking for?
- Previous experience of leading and delivering people projects across a large organisation
- Learning and Development qualification or equivalent experience including managing Apprenticeship programmes
- Significant experience in delivering strategic learning & development, management or employee engagement interventions
- Previous experience of influencing key stakeholders to design and deliver leaning solutions to meet individual, team and organisational needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The passion to deliver excellent service to our colleagues
- A real people person β the ability to build strong relationships with our colleagues
- A team player
- Adaptable to change in a fast paced environment
