Position Overview & Specifications
Location: Milton Keynes - Fishermead
Salary: £10 per hour
Shifts: Shifts between the hours of 9-5 from Monday to Sunday and will be 4 shifts a week
Role: Permanent Part time 21 hours per week so you must be able to work 21 hours a week.

If you have previous experience as a support worker, care assistant, domiciliary/home care, or residential homes then this would be ideal for you. If not, don’t worry if you have no experience as this isn’t necessary and full training will be provided. Tolcarne Avenue & Veryan Place are Residential Service providing individualised support in a nurturing and homely environment, where people’s rights, independence and choices are actively promoted. They support adults with Autism, Learning disabilities & complex needs.
Support Worker duties:
- Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills
- Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities such as arts, crafts, hobbies
- Assisting with the development of person centred plans for our residents
- This includes employment, education and other opportunities
- Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments
- Providing personal care where needed always working towards more independence
- Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development
