Position Overview & Specifications
We are currently recruiting for two, fixed term Team Manager posts until the end of March 2025.
The Team Manager role will be integral to the success of this service. The post-holder will lead the growth, development and support of a geographically dispersed team of staff and volunteers with overall responsibility for the operational delivery of the NSPCC Building Connections Service.
They will:
- Provide line management and supervision to ensure practice standards and principles of safeguarding are maintained at all times.
- Participate in a Duty Manager rota to provide advice, guidance and support on operational and safeguarding matters relevant to this service.
- Lead on the development and implementation of a volunteer recruitment strategy
- Facilitate the growth of the service through outreach activities and by acting as a key representative to external partners.
We are looking for individuals who have:
- A strong management background with comprehensive safeguarding experience.
- A creative and enthusiastic approach to working with others to shape processes and service delivery.
- A passion for delivering front-line services for children and young people.
