Position Overview & Specifications

We’re McCann Worldgroup’s best-kept secret. With more than 50 of us located within McCann UK’s Bishopsgate HQ. We’re rapidly growing and we're just getting started.

We're hungry, driven, ambitious and always pushing ourselves for more. Armed with our attitude-focused proposition ‘For The Restless’, we want to raise awareness of who we are, what we do, and how we do it because we genuinely believe that our progress to date, is just the start.

There’s plenty to shout about - we’re global lead agency for a major airline, recently producing their new brand positioning and subsequent campaign. It’s standout work that we’re very proud of, but only the start of a five-year journey together. We also create work for MasterCard across Europe, global integrated creative for the Egypt Tourist Board, and all kinds of creative for Predator gaming, Allergan, ACER, the Electoral Commission, Refuge, Hargreaves Lansdown and PlayOJO, among others.

The work we’re doing is getting bigger and better every month. You can see a showreel on our website, although it’s a few months and already about ten campaigns old! Right now, we are looking for a Junior – Mid Weight Producer to join our busy production team in London. You will have a foundation of production experience under your belt and are looking for that next step.

WHAT WE WANT TO SEE

  • You will be a keen team player and able to work within our tight knit production department, providing assistance with pre and post production.
  • You will have at least 4 years production experience under your belt – agency side experience preferable
  • You will have a good understanding of production and the need for processes and be keen to develop and enhance them.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure a high quality creative output that maintains previous standards, whether this on a shoot, working closely with an Art Director, or working harmoniously with the agency Account Team.
  • Basic knowledge of a production discipline (film, interactive, print, mobile, content, events/experiential, social, Art Buying, Retouching, CGI etc.)
  • Strong and proven experience producing social work
  • Able to support Producers and work with the broader team across the agency and McCann network to make the most of their expertise in specialist areas.
  • Organised and flexible
  • The ability to communicate well with the internal teams and liaise with clients where necessary.
  • The ability to manage specialist supplier relationships and costs, define scope of jobs, deliver against a budget, negotiate prices and estimate production costs and to be accountable for all production cost management.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Be proactive and have a can-do attitude
  • Understanding of client expectations and agency/production life
  • Able to create and execute on project plans and schedules
  • Ability to think creatively and ‘outside the box’ and pivot quickly and efficiently as/when necessary
  • Willingness to learn various project types, including web, mobile, video, social, brand, and broadcast work
  • Create and successfully manage budgets of up to £100K
  • Work well in a collaborative fast-paced team environment
  • Able to negotiate client and supplier fees, writing estimates and purchase orders
  • A good eye for design, creative and art buying
  • Can work effectively under pressure, react quickly, and meet tight deadlines
  • Able to learn and retain copyright and business affairs needs
  • Courage to challenge and innovate
  • Full clean UK driving licence
