As we are the only security fencing company to offer same day delivery within the UK, delivering optimum service through our dedicated sales, transport & systems development teams, it is no surprise we are one of the market leading companies in the security fencing industry.
The rapid pace of our growth has resulted in a sales increase in excess of 100% year on year since we were established in Burton-on-Trent in 2010. Building on our success, we are continuing to develop avenues for new business opportunities. Having recently opened our sixth depot in Nottingham, we have ambitious plans for further growth and business expansion.
Our rapid growth means that we currently operate from six locations - our main head office in Swadlincote in the East Midlands, Tipton in the West Midlands, Nottingham, Canvey Island, Bristol, and Glasgow.
Position:
Duties and Responsibilities
- To operate a variety of machines including over head cranes, tube punch machines in order to produce a range of various pre galvanised fencing posts.
- Stack and band the products into specified quantities.
- Observe machine operations and adjust accordingly.
- Completion of all production documentation.
- Follow all operating instructions to ensure machine runs consistently.

Requirements:
Skills, Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
- Experience of working with Steel in a manufacturing Environment.
- Capable of reading and understanding Engineering drawings.
- Good numeracy and literacy Skills.
- Ability to always remain professional.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High Attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Self-Motivator, ability to demonstrate initiative.
- Ability to plan, Organise and Prioritise , and work to tight deadlines.
- Flexible approach to working hours, as some additional hours and weekend work may be required

Hourly Rate
£11 per hour rising to £12 after successful completion of your probation period
Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 16:30
Friday 07:00 - 14:00
