Our Industrial Placement is designed to develop you as a high performing individual that will enable sustainable business growth in highly competitive markets and help us to build a future you can smile about. You will gain significant commercial experience and exposure working as part of our eCommerce team with exposure to Amazon, Ocado & Quick Commerce, while gaining valuable access to our leadership program and training courses.

Over the duration of the industrial placement you will be a key member of our Customer Development function. The Customer Development organisation is focused on ensuring our products are highly visible and supported with superior 5P strategies at the shelves of all retail environments that sell our categories. We achieve our goals by building strong engagement with the trade to drive strong sell-in and sell-out, acting with efficiency and having a single-minded focus on excellence in execution.

With today’s fast-changing trade environment, broadening customer needs and shifting consumer and shopper expectations, new demands are being placed on Customer Development and the Commercial Organisation worldwide. To deliver outstanding business results, we must adopt a broader commercial perspective, be more category and shopper centric, engage more deeply with our customers and service providers and ensure excellence in the execution of our plans. You will be a key driver in ensuring Colgate-Palmolive can meet our targets and allow the business to thrive in the future.

What we are looking for

• On track for a 2:1 or above in your second year of university

• The right to live and work in the UK for the entirety of the Internship programme
