Hotel Kitchen Assistants - Alton Towers Resort

Our hotel teams are currently recruiting Kitchen Assistants to work in one of our professional kitchens within Alton Towers. You will be aiding the chefs and culinary staff in the preparation of food for the restaurant. This is a great starting point for a career within catering and hospitality and you will be working with a team of talented chefs.

The ingredients for success

Ideally you will have had experience in a similar role, however, people wanting to get into this role with no experience will be considered. Your mission is clear, you must assist the team in delivering first class food to our hotel guests, and to support the kitchen team.

Pay, benefits and hours

You will be working either part time or full time on a seasonal variable contract, with an hourly rate up to £10.55 dependant on age.

Your main responsibilities will include

• To maintain food hygiene, service and presentation to standard
• To aid the preparation of food for the chefs
• To maintain a high standard of hygiene in respect of premises and self
• Ensuring all equipment is clean and put away correctly

Qualifications and experience needed

• Due to the nature of this role you must be over 18 years old
• Experience in industrial catering would be of benefit but not essential
• A passion for food and service
• Flexible approach to hours and duties
• Team player
