An opportunity has just become available and weβre looking for a Business Developer to join our team in Bristol. The role is aligned to our Engineering, Construction, & Power division. Existing knowledge of these products is not essential as weβre looking for an individual with the right attitude and motivation. The ideal candidate will manage some of our of most significant accounts across the South West and Wales.
In your new role you will expect to be out and about visiting brokers and managing broker accounts. Youβll be dealing with a mixture of brokers and will be expected to collaborate with colleagues across Property/Casualty, Fleet, and Motor Trade teams.
Role Details
- Leads the management of assigned key broker accounts for Allianz UK in the South West , & Wales Market through excellent relationship management
- Plans, implements and delivers the development of broker relationships and strategic business plans for assigned accounts. You will consistently monitor and manage performance against these plans and take relevant actions to ensure delivery of required results
- Acts as the relationship lead (internally and externally) for assigned accounts to ensure Allianz achieves the maximum benefit from these relationships and also delivers on our client commitments
- Plays an active role in driving innovative business development initiatives
- Ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements
Skills and experience
- Excellent relationship management, networking, negotiation and influencing skills
- Self-starter, assertive, resilient and ability to motivate others to win with you
- Close familiarity with the commercial insurance market and its components
- Understanding of the customer and broker propositions offered by the Allianz Group
- Strong financial acumen and presentations skills
