The Creative team is responsible for the development and execution of a range of content for A+E Networks UK. The team devise and deliver all the on-air and off-air campaigns, short form, branding and promos for Sky History, The History Channel international, Crime + Investigation, BLAZE and our streaming services, History PLAY and CI PLAY.
A+E Networks UK was awarded BDA Channel of the Year for Sky History! We have also been certified by Great Place to Work 2022!

This role is based in Hammersmith West London, in our collaborative office space.

Our South African team won gold for Best Outdoor or Print Ad in the Promax Awards for HISTORY Channel Africa's Icons of Music campaign, while 'Italy by Train,' a digital campaign on the HISTORY Channel, received a gold award at Promax Global Excellence in Italy. Over in Spain, COSMO TV's raw and original transgender production, 17 Minutos con Nora, has garnered 10 prizes and counting in over 50 film festivals. For the International Eyes and Ears Awards, recognising outstanding audio-visual media, our team in Germany won Best Online Presence. While next door in Poland, we received one of the most critical accolades in the Polish TV market, the Titanium Eye Award, for its social media campaign supporting Born This Way, a docu-series on Down Syndrome adults. Key Responsibilities

• Producing on-air promos and supporting above the line campaigns and special projects.

• 
  Write and produce effective and stand out campaigns for on-air promos and bring new thinking and strong ideas to bigger campaign briefs.

• Strong self-op editing skills are essential. We create a huge volume of on-air content and branding, and your editing skills will be key to your success.

• Script and write cut-through concepts for digital teams, direct voiceovers, commission graphics and partake in cross department creative sessions.

• Enthusiastically present creative concepts and gain buy-in from all teams involved in the campaign.

• You must be highly organised with the ability to manage a series of deadlines at once. It is important you take a keen interest in current trends. Your ideas will help to drive growth through excellence working with some world leading and highly renowned brands.

Person Specification

• A strong ideas generator with passions for writing, creativity, design and television.

• Good communicator who is happy to get involved in creative and marketing challenges.

• A great team player

• Able to share the love - you don't keep what you know to yourself

• Be a sponge - your mind is filled with culture (both high and low)

• Conviction - you stand up for what you really believe in.

• A keen interest and knowledge of current technological and social media trends and their potential within our industry.

Desirable Experience

• Experience in broadcasting or advertising, with a reel that demonstrates outstanding creative work.

• Excellent knowledge of production tools in edited and digital media.

• A strong awareness of television and DTC streaming platforms.
